- Recorded on March 20, 1930 in Atlanta. A. A. gray plays the fiddle and John Dilleshaw (more popularly known as Seven Foot Dilly) plays guitar. It is my understanding that "streak of lean, streak of fat" is a reference to a southern side dish called "salt pork," a variation of what used to be known as "bacon." Dilly was much recorded during the twenties, both with Gray, and with his own stringband: Seven Foot Dilly and His Dill Pickles.
